Final outcome of my YouTube banner!

 

    This is my final result! I really like my design because I made it from scratch, emphasizing the content that my YouTube channel is going to deliver.

    The picture below shows the banner uploaded to YouTube. You can see the different dimensions for different devices.

    From this project, I've learned the importance of creating a mood board. It serves as a valuable resource for generating ideas and refining my design. Additionally, having a mood board specifically for typography proved to be incredibly helpful. It allowed me to compare different typefaces efficiently without the need to go back and forth. 

    Understanding the intended usage of your design is also crucial. In my case, without creating a mood board and conducting research, my initial design wouldn't have fit neatly into the YouTube banner section, potentially resulting in parts being cropped out. Therefore, I can emphasize the significance of not skipping the ideation phase when designing something, as it enables you to approach the design from a different perspective.
