Feedback for my first design

   

 This is my first design. I used Canva as the platform for my design. When I designed this, I did not even make a mood board or seek any inspiration. I solely designed based on my ideas. I felt inclined to include all elements of Malaysia. However, when I asked my friend, she told me that the design was okay but the white colour in the depiction of Malaysia was not very suitable because it blended in with the sky. So I intensified it by using the effect features in Canva. 

    Then, I showed the design to my lecturer. However, my lecturer still mentioned that the white colour seemed to blend in with the sky. Besides, she also suggested that I create a mood board because she did not know the context of my design. Additionally, she noted that the size of my banner didn’t seem suitable for a YouTube banner. My banner size is 2048 x 1152 px. Upon researching in Canva website, I found that the YouTube banner size should be 2560 x 1440 px, with the minimum banner dimensions of 2048 x 1152 px. For best results, create a channel banner image with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Consequently, I have decided to redesign my YouTube banner.
